Rules of submission and collection of the documents

As of 24 October 2020, Germany has classified the United Kingdom a high-risk area, with the exception of Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey. New quarantine regulations have been introduced for people travelling from the UK. Applications are still being accepted with some restrictions owing to current ongoing regulations.

Please note that our centre in Manchester is closed until further notice.

In a bid to control the spread of COVID-19, we have taken measures to limit person-to-person contact in our visa centres. As of 21 September 2020, we will be implementing a mandatory delivery service for all applicants except in the case of exceptional circumstances. At the time of your application, you will be requested to provide your delivery details. Please refer to the ‘Fees’ page for a full breakdown of our charges.

Face coverings are mandatory in our visa centres unless you are exempt and hold a valid exception card. Please ensure that you attend your appointment with the appropriate protective equipment.

Kindly note: for faster processing time it is highly recommended to fill in the Application Form beforehand.

For information regarding National Visa rules of submission/collection please refer to the National Visa page.
