Applications for the Schengen countries Belgium, Greece, Finland, France, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Portugal, Sweden and Spain are also accepted through the VisaMetric branches. The applications from these countries are then forwarded to the German Embassy in Dushanbe.

According to the Visa Code of the Schengen countries applications can be launched up to 6 (six) months before the intended date of travel. Whereas, applications launched less than 15 calendar days before the intended date of travel cannot be accepted. The standard period of review is within 15 calendar days. In certain cases, this period could be extended to up to 45 days.
Please refrain from inquiring about the readiness of a decision by your application before the specified period expires.
ATTENTION: Visa applications with a primary destination of Germany, France, Sweden, Luxembourg, Portugal, Belgium, Finland, Spain, Italy, Austria, Norway, or the Netherlands can now be accepted again and processed by VisaMetric without providing a Verbal Note from the respective embassy.
1. Before submitting an application:
- Prepare all the required documents
- Book your appointment online for free.
2. While submitting an application:
- Screening of the documents and fingerprint recording will take place in one of the VisaMetric branches; applications will then be sent to the relevant diplomatic representations.
- Don't forget that you can choose our additional services.
3. After you have submitted an application:
- You can track an application on our website.
- After the application is processed you can collect your passport at the visa application center or receive by delivery service, if the delivery was confirmed on the application day in the Visa center of Germany.
A Schengen visa allows you to travel within the Schengen area for up to 90 days. According to the regulations, applicants have to apply for a visa in the country which can be identified as the main destination of their journey. In case Germany isn't the main destination, the applicant should apply for a visa at the other relevant Diplomatic Representation (that of the Schengen country which can be identified as the main destination)
