National visa
If you plan to stay in Germany for more than 90 days, you need to apply for a national visa.
ATTENTION: The acceptance of national visa applications only for:
- specialist language examination (Fachsprachenprüfung) / specialist proficiency test (Kenntnisprüfung) in accordance with § 16d Absatz 5 AufenthG (Residence Act)
- Studies, study applicants and preparatory study language courses
- Language course exceeding 3 months
- Skilled workers seeking employment
- Dependent employment
- Vocational and further training
- EU Blue Card
- Practice
is carried out exclusively by VisaMetric after prior appointment. Please book an appointment for national visas here free of charge.
Please note that in order to apply for a national visa, the personal presence of each applicant is required, since on the day of submission of documents, the fingerprinting procedure takes place.
Before the submission:
- Prepare all the required documents.
- Book an appointment.
- Visit VisaMetric office.
- Fill in and print out the application form.
Submission process:
- Reviewing of the provided documents and biometric data collection take place in VisaMetric office; applications will then be forwarded to the relevant Diplomatic Mission.
