Visametric will send your documents to the Visa Office of the Consulate. The Embassy decides on Schengen Visa Applications, usually within 10 days after receiving the application.

Kindly note that in times of high application demand (for example, in connection with summer or public holidays), the processing time of applications may be increased.

A Schengen Visa Application can be submitted 180 days before the planned date of travel.

The German Embassy in Baku recommends applying for a visa no later than 15 days before the planned travel date.

The decision to approve or refuse a visa is entirely up to the diplomatic representation. For this reason, we kindly ask you to submit your application in advance.
Please note that visa processing for non-Azerbaijan applicants may take more than 10 days.

Note: in case the processing time exceeds 15 days, applications have to be requested directly in written form to the foreign representation. Please note that the foreign representations might request you to submit missing / additional documents. You will be notified by e-mail, and we therefore recommend that you check it regularly.
