We are pleased to inform you that VisaMetric will officially accept visa applications on behalf of the German Embassy in Serbia from 09.09.2024.
Warning about unofficial agencies
Appointments can only be booked via the Visametric website. Agencies or travel agencies have no other access and cannot book different or earlier appointments than you can yourself. Therefore, it is not necessary to hire an agency or travel agency for appointment booking.
Visametric also points out that application forms (VIDEX), information sheets, and all necessary information for submitting applications are available free of charge on the Embassy’s website at www.belgrad.diplo.de.
The German Embassy in Belgrade works exclusively with the external service provider Visametric!
There is explicitly no cooperation with other private visa agencies.
Important note on appointment scheduling and visa application for the Western Balkans regulation
Starting June 1, 2024, you have the opportunity to expedite your visa process considerably by securing pre-approval: Your future employer will apply for approval from the Federal Employment Agency before you schedule a visa application appointment. Once your future employer has obtained pre-approval from the Federal Employment Agency, you can schedule an appointment and apply for the visa by presenting the pre-approval.
National Visa:
Under the National Visa category, you can book an appointment for the following travel purposes:
- Long Stay Other Beschv
- Elderly care in the area of health, sickness and geriatric care (nursing assistant)
- Cruise ship employees
- Western Balkans regulations
- Professional Drivers
- Long Stay Contract Worker
- Short-term quota employment
- Student visa (without scholarship)
Schengen Visa:
Under the Schengen Visa category, you can book an appointment for the following travel purposes:
