Schengen Visa (For staying in the country for less than 90 days)

If you want to stay in Germany less than 90 days, you need a Schengen visa. Serbian citizens are entitled to FREE travel to the Schengen area for a period of up to 90 days within a 180-day period. Under normal circumstances, they are not eligible to apply for a Schengen visa. A Schengen visa can only be applied for by residents of Serbia / people otherwise permanently residing in Serbia who are NOT in the possession of the Serbian citizenship and who are permanently residing in Serbia.

Please note that 15 calendar days are the standard processing time for a Schengen visa application. In cases where the start of the planned trip will take place in less than 15 calendar days, the application will not be accepted. The Embassy strongly recommends submitting applications no later than four weeks before the start of the planned journey, as it may take longer to process in individual cases.
