Safety regulations

In accordance with the security regulations of the German diplomatic missions, applicants visiting VisaMetric branches must follow the rules of the visa center and are not allowed to bring and use the following devices and materials:

  • Smartphones, digital cameras or other photo or sound-capable devices
  • Weapons or weapon-like objects or any kind of incendiary material (matches, lighters, flammable fuels, MP3 players, laptops, battery-powered audio recorders, etc.)
  • Pets (due to a possible allergic reaction)
  • Sealed envelopes or packages
  • Food or beverages
  • Bags, backpacks and suitcases larger than hand luggage (only the documents required for the application may be carried in a folder)

Please note that the prohibited items are not limited to those mentioned in the list.

In addition, we ask you to note the following.

  • Security personnel and VisaMetric employees have the right to check applicants' bags at any time. The security staff is authorized to prohibit the above-mentioned objects from being taken along.
  • For security reasons, applicants may not be accompanied by friends, relatives or work colleagues during the application process. (Only applicants and persons authorized by the applicant may enter the VisaMetric branches.). Persons with physical disabilities or who are illiterate may be accompanied by one person when submitting the application.
  • Applicants may only enter the general areas of the VisaMetric branch (not personnel areas, toilets, etc.).
  • The above items cannot be admitted to the VisaMetric branch. We therefore ask the applicants to ensure before the visit that these items are not taken with them.
  • The VisaMetric branches are monitored by cameras around the clock in accordance with our security regulations.

Confidentiality and Personal Data Protection Policy

This Policy on Confidentiality and Protection of Personal Data (“Policy”) includes:

  1. What kind of personal data are collected by VisaMetric through the website, any mobile web applications which may be introduced in the future and by other means,
  2. How and for what purpose these personal data are used,
  3. With whom VisaMetric may share these personal data,
  4. What kind of measures are taken regarding the safety of your personal data,
  5. What your rights are on your personal data processed by VisaMetric and how you may execute these rights,
  6. The duration throughout which your personal data shall be stored,

Information on confidentiality

VisaMetric Group hereby declares that each applicant’s personal information will not be distributed, displayed, rented, leased, sold unless VisaMetric is legally obliged to disclose them due to a court order or any other legal action; all personal data will be stored with care.

Information on the Protection of Personal Data

We, as VisaMetric, show utmost sensitivity in terms of the safety of your personal data. With this awareness, we attribute great significance to the processing and storage of all kinds of personal data pertaining to all persons associated with VisaMetric, mainly those of applicants benefitting from our products and services, in compliance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data Number. With the full understanding of our responsibility arising from the Law, we are processing your personal data, in the capacity of “Data Supervisor” in the manner defined by the Law, as described below and in the framework of the limits stipulated by the regulations.

1. Collection, Processing of Personal Data and the Processing Purposes

Along with the fact that your personal data may vary depending on the service rendered by VisaMetric and the commercial activities of VisaMetric, they may be collected verbally, in written form or electronically by means of automatic or non-automatic methods, through units and offices, website, social media, mobile applications, which may be introduced in the future, and similar means. Your personal data may be created, updated and processed as long as you benefit from the products and services offered by VisaMetric .

Furthermore, when you use our call center or website page in order to benefit from the VisaMetric services, when you visit the VisaMetric offices or our website, when you participate in the organisations undertaken by VisaMetric, your personal data may be processed.

Your personal data collected shall be processed in the framework of the personal data processing conditions and objectives stated in of the Law, for the purposes of the performance of the necessary works, by our work units, to ensure that you benefit from the products and services offered by VisaMetric for the customization of the products and services offered by VisaMetric, in accordance with your appreciation and requirements, and their being offered to you as such; for the provision of the legal and commercial safety of VisaMetric and any natural and legal persons in business relationship with VisaMetric the determination and implementation of VisaMetric’s commercial and business strategies, and ensuring the implementation of VisaMetric’s human resources policies.

2. Processed and Collected Personal Data

The term "Personal Data", as used in this Policy, shall mean information such as name, middle name, surname, date of birth, nationality, passport no., passport expiry date, ID number, flight departure date, flight return date, fixed telephone, mobile phone, e-mail address, residential address, which may be used for determining your identity. VisaMetric reserves the right to request further data and information due to any practices and inquiries of the relevant countries’ Embassies and Consulates.

3. To Whom and for What Purposes the Processed Personal Data may be Transferred

Your personal data collected may be transfered to our business partners, suppliers, agencies, VisaMetric executives, the company’s shareholders and the legally authorized public institutions and establishments in order to ensure that the necessary works are performed by our work units in order to make you benefit from the products and services offered by VisaMetric that the products and services offered by VisaMetric are proposed to you upon being customized pursuant to your appreciations and requirements; to ensure the legal and commercial safety of the natural and legal persons with whom VisaMetric is in a business relationship; to determine and implement VisaMetric ’s commercial and business strategies, as well as to ensure the implementation of VisaMetric ’s human resources policies, in the framework of the personal data processing conditions and objectives stated in of the Law.

4. Method and Legal Ground of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data are obtained, through all kinds of verbal, written or electronic media, in order to enable the presentation of the products and services, which we, as VisaMetric, offer, within the legal framework determined and to enable VisaMetric to fulfill its liabilities arising out of the contract and the law completely and accurately, in accordance with the above-mentioned objectives. Your personal data collected for this legal reason may be processed and transfered in the scope of the personal data processing conditions and objectives stated in of the Law.

5. Storage of Personal Data

Personal data collected from applicants verbally, in written form or by social media, through VisaMetric units and offices, website, social media, any applications to be introduced in the future and similar means, shall be stored only for the period foreseen in the relevant regulations or, in case there isn’t any duration foreseen in the regulations, for the period required by the data processing objective. The stored data shall be deleted, eliminated or anonymized after the purpose for processing the data is not applicable any longer.

6. Measures related to the Protection of Personal Data

VisaMetric is liable to take all technical and administrative measures required against the unauthorized access to personal data collected from Applicants and from all legal persons, whose personal data are processed by VisaMetric, against the loss of information, their misuse, disclosure, amendment or unauthorized disposal. VisaMetric shall not be kept liable for any damages incurred to data subjects because of severe destruction of its servers, despite the fact that all measures arising from the law related to the protection of personal data were taken, due to any circumstances such as any unforeseeable and unpreventable cyber-attack, the breakdown of the data recording system, cases of force majeure such as earthquake, flood, fire, etc.

7. Keeping Personal Data Accurately and Updated

VisaMetric is liable to keep the personal data, which it has collected from you, accurately and updated. The entire responsibility arising from the fact that any personal data which you have delivered to VisaMetric verbally, in written form or electronically through VisaMetric units and offices, website, social media, mobile applications, which may be introduced in the future, and similar means, was not accurate and updated, shall be arised by you. You may realize any amendments and/or updating related to your personal data processed by VisaMetric by means of the application which you may forward to VisaMetric by electronical or physical media.

8. Amendments to be made on the Confidentiality and Personal Data Protection Policy

VisaMetric always reserves the right to make any amendments on this policy. Amendments to be made on the policy and the updated policy text shall promptly enter into force upon its publication in the website of VisaMetric. For this purpose, it is suggested that this policy text is reviewed periodically by everyone, whose personal data is processed by VisaMetric, mainly the applicants.

9. Applicable Law, Competent Court and Enforcement Offices

This policy is subject to the laws of Serbia. For the settlement of all kinds of disputes which may arise from the implementation of the policy, the Civil Tribunals and Enforcement Offices of Belgrad shall be competent.
