Important Notice for Work Visa Applicants and Their Family Members
Dear applicants,
Please be advised that all family members of individuals applying for a work visa must bring a physical (printed) copy of their documents to their appointment.
Additionally, family members of individuals applying for a work visa should not register on the Foreign Portal. While the main applicant is applying through the Foreign Portal for a work visa, once their documents have been reviewed and accepted, they will be directed to the Visametric appointment system to select a date. At this stage, the main applicant must create an appointment through the Visametric system by selecting as many people as there are family members to include them in the appointment. Family members must prepare and bring their application documents separately when coming to the appointment.
You can find detailed information about the documents that family members are required to submit on the website of the German Federal Foreign Office.https://dublin.diplo.de/resource/blob/2497088/acae680a226bd4e9c1046d74a2c85119/v-checklist-fz-25-07-23-data.pdf
