1. Tajikistan / FAQ / Before Your Application

I have received a written declaration commitment, valid for 90 days / six months, but I would like to apply for a two-year visa, is that possible?

Yes, but only the first 90 days are financially insured according to the declaration of commitment statement. For the remaining period of the desired visa, you must additionally confirm your financial capabilities. It is also necessary to check your financial capabilities, especially bank statements for the last 3-6 months, which show how much income you receive monthly and that you can financially support yourself for a longer stay abroad.

Our company has already invited clients several times, and you know. Why do we have to provide all the documents regarding our financial situation with each application for a visa?

Due to existing regulations, the embassy should not store information about the inviting party. The documents that you send when first invite a client are kept at the embassy in the visa application and are not sorted by company. Therefore, you must provide documents separately for each client.

The Embassy thanks you for your understanding."

What should we do if, for example, the surname is misspelled in the declaration of commitment?

While the identity of the invited and invitees is unmistakably identified, the different spelling of the surname in the declaration of commitment from the passport does not result in refusal of entry into the country at the border.

"Consent for minors. If minors are traveling alone or with only one of the legal guardians (usually parents), in order to apply for a visa, consent must be given for the departure of both legal guardians or another legal guardian who are not involved in travel. This consent must be certified by a notary.

The application must indicate that the legal representative agrees to the departure of the child. As a rule, it also indicates for what period and for what purpose of the trip this declaration is valid. In addition, as a rule, it is also indicated who accompanies the child during the trip.

The declaration of consent is intended to protect the rights of the legal representative as part of the intended travel or visa application.

Therefore, the embassy will only recognize those consents to trip, for applying for a visa, the period of which is not more than 6 months after the issuance of the visa. That is, if consent for trip at the time of applying for a visa exceeds 6 months, it cannot be accepted. In this case, please provide a new consent for trip, certified by a notary."

Schengen visa:

In the Republic of Tajikistan, the connection of the visa department of the German Embassy to the central database VIS took place on November 14, 2013. From this day on, all applicants for a Schengen visa must be fingerprinted!

If you have already submitted your fingerprints when applying for a Schengen visa within the last 59 months, you may be exempt from personal presence. It does not matter for which Schengen country you have been fingerprinted.

Obtaining and lawful use of previous visas must be proven by appropriate copies of the passport.

If both spouses are traveling together, one of the spouses can submit their applications, provided that the spouse who did not join him has already submitted his fingerprints at the Schengen representation within the last 59 months.

The same applies to those traveling with children under 18 years of age, provided that children over 12 years of age have already submitted their fingerprints at the Schengen representation within the last 59 months.

If I don't have to attend in person, what should I pay attention when booking a date?

A date reservation is necessary even with an in-person interview exemption. If we are talking about several applicants, then it is necessary to reserve a date for each of them. If only one date is booked, but multiple applications are brought to the VisaMetric office, only one application will be accepted.

The person who will apply for you will need an informal power of attorney to submit the application and answer questions from the embassy. Please also provide this person with all necessary information regarding the purpose of the trip.

If you contact the VisaMetric branch with incomplete documents, our staff will point this out to you. Then you will  have the following options:
