  2. Transfer the appointment booking fee to create an appointment to apply for a Schengen visa.

During the application process:

  1. The verification of the documents and the collection of the fingerprints take place in the VisaMetric branch. From there they are sent to the respective diplomatic mission. You can find out more about fingerprint capture here.

After the application:

  1. To track your request via our website, please click here.
  2. After the processing is finished, you can pick up your passport again by presenting your identity card and the original of your cashier receipt. If you would like your passport to be delivered to your address by courier service, you can click here.

The Schengen visa allows travel up to 90 days within the Schengen states. According to the visa regulations, you must apply for a visa in the country to which you are going to travel or spend a large part of your trip. If the main destination is another Schengen state than Italy, the application must be submitted to the Schengen representation responsible for this.
