Prime Time

The Prime-Time Service allows you to submit your visa application outside normal opening hours. Applicants who are unable to submit their visa application within normal opening hours can use this service.

Create an appointment online before submitting your application, subject to availability. Please note that by booking this service you will not be given an earlier appointment to submit your application and your application will not be processed faster by the embassy than if you use the normal service.

Using this optional service does not affect whether or not your visa is granted. The decision on your visa application is made by the German Embassy (not VisaMetric). Fees

INFORMATION ON ADDITIONAL SERVICES

The use of additional services is entirely voluntary and is not a requirement for submitting a visa application.

Booking or using additional services has no influence whatsoever on:

  • access to an appointment or the allocation of appointments;
  • the assessment or processing time of a visa application; or
  • the decision of the competent diplomatic mission regarding the visa application.

The current fees for the additional services offered can be found on our website under “Visa Information” in the “Fees” section.
