Submission process

Citizens of Ukraine and citizens of third countries who legally reside in Ukraine are eligible to submit Visa Applications.

  • Applicants over 18 years may apply for a visa in person.
  • If biometric data (fingerprints) acquistion has been already processed in the previous 59 months for any Schengen Visa application:
  • with the Visametric form of power of attorney:

The trustee must have the following documents with him: the VisaMetric form of the power of attorney with signature (original) - filled by the applicant; a copy of the applicant's passport - page with personal data and photo; and a copy of the trustee passport. The same format for submission process applies for spouses when submitted one for another, and also in case of submission of groups' applications: power of attorney must be filled from all persons who will be included in the agreement for the person who will be recorded as main person in the agreement.

  • For children under 18 years of age, a parent may apply. In this case, he/she must provide the birth certificate (original and copy) and the application documents of the minor.
  • In case documents of minors are not submitted by parents or guardians, a notarized power of attorney to a third party is required from one of the representatives of the child (parent). This power of attorney must be signed by this parent or guardian. Additionally, you must provide a copy of the internal passport of the parent who signed the power of attorney, a copy of the internal passport of the trustee and the original and a copy of the birth certificate.


Collection process
  • When the passport is returned from the Embassy to VisaMetric, applicants can collect passports at the German Visa Center in which the application has been submitted.
  • Applicants can personally receive passport and accompanying documentation (if any) if the contact was made on his/her name.
  • Collection by a third party (other than the customer) is possible only with a notarized power of attorney.
  • In case a contract was made for a group, only the person mentioned in the contract as the main person can collect all passports and accompanying documentation for the entire group.
  • Applicant, Applicant's passport (or other identity document. For example: residence permit for foreign citizens).
  • For minor applicants, only the parent specified in the client agreement as a customer (the customer party in the client’s agreement) can take the documents.

Please note that when you receive your passport and accompanying documentation at the Visa Center, you will need to fill a confirmation for this (provided by the manager on collection area).
