Please note:

• Submitting counterfeited or false documents, as well as providing false information, can lead to the rejection of your application and possibly to an entry ban to Germany (and thus also to all the other Schengen area member states)! 
• We strongly recommend to submit a complete set of documents as per the list of required documents. 
• Diplomatic Missions reserves the right to request further documents in individual cases. 
• Please sort your documents according to the order given in the leaflet and hand them in at the counter without covers and without staples. 
• For faster processing time it is highly recommended to fill in the Application Form beforehand. 
• Every applicant, including children/infants, must have personal documents set for the schengen visa application.

General passport requirements:

• An international passport or official travel document should be not older than 10 years from the date of issue (including any extension of passport validity) and valid for at least another three months after departure from the territory of the Schengen countries and contain at least 2 blank pages to affix the visa.
• Non-Ukrainian applicants must submit their Ukrainian residence permit. This residence permit should be valid for at least another three months after departure from the territory of the Schengen countries.

Any exceptions to the above rules will be considered only at the discretion of the German Embassy in Kyiv.
