1. I want to cancel my existing visa, what should I do?
To cancel an existing Schengen visa issued by Italy, we recommend that you get information from the Italian Diplomatic Representative through e-mail.
2. Are the visas issued by Visametric?
No. Only the Consulate/Embassy Visa Department has the authority of decision about the visa application.
3. I will be traveling to Italy. Can I make a visa application at the representation of another Schengen country?
In general, the Schengen Visa grants its holder the right to travel within the Schengen area. If you are planning to travel to other Schengen countries, to obtain a visa you should apply to the representation of the country where you will be staying the longest.
4. Before applying for a national visa, what should the validity period of my passport be?
The passport must be valid for at least 3 months from the end of the trip. Visas issued for family reasons are issued with a validity period of one year, so in these cases the passport must have an extra validity of at least 15 months. There must be at least two blank pages in the passport at the time of application.
5. What are the documents I should bring for a national visa application?
